Dr. B. Chandrasekhar is a highly experienced Senior Hematologist and Hemato-Oncologist, and one of the pioneering Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Physicians in Andhra Pradesh. With over 12 years of specialized experience, he has played a key role in establishing advanced Hemato-Oncology and BMT services at Visakhapatnam.
He performed the first-ever Allogeneic Stem Cell / Bone Marrow Transplantation in the state and has since successfully led several complex transplants, including Haplo-identical and Matched Unrelated Donor (MUD) procedures.
Dr. Chandrasekhar’s clinical expertise spans both malignant and non-malignant blood disorders, and he continues to contribute significantly to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based and compassionate care.
